What This Policy Covers
This policy explains how Tohu Heritage New Zealand handles information in connection with your use of tohuheritage.nz. We do not collect personal data from visitors beyond what is strictly necessary to operate the website. We do not run advertising, behavioural tracking, or analytics on this site.
What We Collect and Why
We do not use cookies for tracking or personalisation. We do not collect names, email addresses, or device identifiers from visitors who simply browse the site.
The only circumstances in which we receive personal information are:
- Contact form submissions. If you choose to contact us, your name, email address, and message are submitted to Web3Forms (our form processing service) and forwarded to us by email. We keep this only as long as we need it to respond.
- Admin session. If you are an authorised site administrator, a short-lived session cookie is set after you log in. This cookie is not accessible to third parties and is not used for tracking.
Cloudflare
This website is served through Cloudflare's global network. Cloudflare processes every web request and may log metadata including IP addresses, browser type, and request timestamps for the purpose of network security, DDoS mitigation, and service reliability. This processing is governed by Cloudflare's own privacy policy.
Cloudflare acts as a data processor on our behalf. Their infrastructure sits between your browser and our origin servers. We do not control or have direct access to Cloudflare's network-level logs.

Access, Correction & Deletion
Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to request access to any personal information we hold about you, and to request correction of any inaccuracies. Because we collect very little personal data, in most cases there will be nothing to access beyond any contact form submission you have sent us.
